Rosine Dawson

Role
Rosine is head of our Employment Law Services Team in Milton Keynes. She advises on all aspects of corporate employment law. She became a member of the LLP in 2008.
Experience
Her 10 years experience specializing in employment issues covers both contentious and non contentious matters including:

Dismissal, reorganization, redundancy.

Performance, misconduct and absence problems. Disciplinary and grievance procedures.

Contracts of employment, compromise agreements

Senior executive severance, director’s duties, director’s service agreements.

The transfer of undertaking (protection of employment) regulations (TUPE) issues in business sales and contracting in and contracting out services.

Sex, race, religion, age and disability discrimination.
Rosine has acted for a diversity of clients from small local companies to banks and national PLCs She gives seminars and workshops and has published articles in regional business magazines. She has also been a regular advocate in Employment Tribunals.
Background
Born in Aberdeen, Scotland. Rosine attended Aberdeen University where she gained an honours degree in physics (BSc Hons). She later completed her law studies at De Montfort University, Leicester, where she passed with distinction. She has lived in the Northampton area for some 20 years. Rosine joined Borneos in June 2006 from Fennemores and was previously with the Birmingham office of the international law firm DLA. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Gardening, skiing and horse riding where she has competed at international level.
