Intellectual property covers a wide variety of rights of control owned initially by creators of novel designs, names, commercial processes, website pages, computer software, sounds and smells amongst many others. A creator of such work may be given protection over the way in which their goods, services or products are marketed, sold, adapted or modified by others.
