Borneos conducts seminars on a variety of employment topics and we are available to provide in-house training. By raising managers’ and supervisors’ awareness of the importance of good employment practice, we can help you to reduce the risk of disputes arising. For example, unlawful discrimination or constructive dismissal claims can result simply from a lack of understanding of employment law or mistakes made by inexperienced staff when dealing with their colleagues or subordinates. Our charges are normally made on the basis of an hourly rate for the time taken. In some circumstances we can agree a fixed charge in advance. We may agree payment by instalment or on the basis of a retainer fee, if that will assist cash-flow. We can also liaise with you and insurance providers for legal expenses insurance cover in the event that you do need to defend employment claims in court or tribunal.
