My paintings are influenced by the Impressionists, in particular Claude Monet, and their use of broken colour. It is a personal interpretation of nature, influenced by the colourful subjects all around - landscapes, seascapes, gardens and flowers - even weeds and leaves can be a source of inspiration.
I first became attracted to water media in 1982, after many years of oil paintings in the 70s. I have exhibited at the Mall Galleries London and the Westminster Galleries in the 1990s, the Heffer Gallery, and Primavera Cambridge, Penny Lodge Gallery, Fenny Stratford, Milton Keynes regularly.
