Audrey grew up on a Devonshire farm and retains her love of the countryside. She lived in Somerset, Buckinghamshire and now resides in Bedfordshire.
Having brought up a family and reached retirement she enjoys experimenting with mixed media and exploring a variety of different techniques.
Not being concerned with literal copying she translates her impressions of a subject through an expressionist treatment which often has an element of surprise.
She was a founder member of the Milton Keynes Society of Artists of which she was Chairman for 5 years and a founder member of the Apollo Group with whom she exhibited for 6 years. This is a Milton Keynes based group of 4 artists who exhibit extensively within a 50 mile radius.

Visiting artist at Abbey Middle School Elstow, Bedford.
She gave a mixed media demonstration at Oxford Museum.
