The
reconstructed Victorian Mansion displays room settings in
the style of the 1870-80's. This provides a unique
opportunity to experience life in a Victorian home as it
would have been lived by a family such as the Higgins.
The first floor of
the Victorian Mansion displays furniture designed by the
Gothic Revival architect and designer William Burges. Pieces
include the "Narcissus Washstand" and Burges' own
bed from Tower House, London.
