My love of all things visual probably began when I was young.
I loved cartoons, comic books and any thing displaying wild, and wonderful
Images. In later life, after falling for experimentation with paints, collages, and
Various techniques, I discovered M.C Escher. His pictures depicting odd perspectives, playing with our perceptions, really struck a chord.
These days, I try to depict the physical world in different ways, using many media.
Landscapes are shown as the fleeting glimpse you get from a car window. A view from beneath a lake, and the fisherman's bait is seen drifting below the water, leaving a trail behind. A couple dance the last dance of the evening, after all others have left.
I have exhibited with the Bedford Art Society, and the Artist Network Bedfordshire. Also, this year I have taken part in the A.N.B open studio event.
