Having returned
to art when my family grew up, I now paint and tutor art classes almost full time. Working
in various media and often a combination of several, I love to experiment with colour and
texture and particularly enjoy the expressive qualities and rich colours of soft pastels.
My subject matter ranges from traditional landscapes and flower paintings to more
'abstracted' interpretations.
As a member of
the Apollo Group of Artists since 1994 I have exhibited widely and in 1997 had my first
solo exhibition. My work is now as far afield as Sweden, Hong Kong, New Zealand and The
United States. I am currently Chairwoman of the Milton Keynes Society of Artists, and many of my paintings are sold at local exhibitions organised by the Society. |
