Though being professionally educated as an architect, Milena has never
stopped painting.
She paints mostly in water based colours: in Chinese colours on silk and
rice paper, and watercolour. Her work varies a lot in motives and source ofinspiration: from flowers and architecture to rather abstract themes withspiritual or erotic background.
Milena has exhibited from Scotland to Brighton at numerous solo and group
exhibitions. In 1994 she won the Harper-Collins prize for the best flower
painting at the National Exhibition in London.
Her work can be found in Germany, Mexico, Macao, USA and many other private
collections around the world.
Milena lives in Milton Keynes.
