Original botanical water colour paintings
Patricia paints in traditional water colours from live specimens, mostly obtained from her own garden in Harlington, Bedfordshire, gardening having always been one of her great loves and interests. Trees and natural materials in the local country side also figure in her work.
Having just finished a span of 26 years selling her paintings at the Chelsea Flower Show, she is now concentrating more on exhibiting her work from home and at local venues.
She is a Gold Medallist of the Royal Horticultural Society and examples of her work have been purchased by them, by the Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation in Pittsburgh and by numerous private collectors around the world.
Over the years she has been commissioned by many organisations such as RHS Enterprises, The Medici Society and the Forestry Commission, to produce decorative botanical designs for use on plates, table mats, stationery and books.
She is an Honorary Member of the Royal Miniature Society, retired after long membership, now preferring larger works, but still painting in great detail.
