I have always had wide interests originally working on development and planning of the earliest commercial computers and combining this with taking up farming.

These activities together with a facility for foreign languages and a certain amount of world travel led on to a particular awareness of current times. When I started painting about four years ago it therefore rapidly turned to abstract.

My paintings are in acrylic and rely on the use of vivid colours often contrasted with restful panels or may be set against an overall plain background.

I have been exhibiting locally and in adjacent counties and in 1997 had a successful open studios event.
